Professional Achievements:
I have extensive experience in diverse health care settings. My background includes psychiatric and correctional nursing, staff education as well as community and home-based services. In addition, I have held various nursing leadership roles in corrections with experience in state prison systems and county jails. Lastly, I have been a NCCHC surveyor since 2012 and presented on several correctional topics at NCCHC and ACA Conferences.
In my past roles in nursing management, I provided oversight for nursing practice standards and issues to promote quality and safe patient care. In addition, my primary focus is the ongoing development of nursing leadership within our profession.
