- Evaluate the arguments that support and oppose Critical Race Theory
- Assess the implications of Critical Race Theory in the field of Nursing Practice and Education

Presented by: Bryant C. Warren

 

Bryant Warren serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Victory Community Coalition. The mission of the Victory Community Coalition is to advocate for improvements by influencing laws and politics so that residents will experience a community where every person has access to healthcare, quality education, safe living environment, food options, capital for business creation, and affordable housing. In addition, Bryant is the Director of the Gospel of Justice Ministry of Victory Apostolic Church in Matteson, Illinois.

Bryant earned a Master of Divinity Degree from McCormick Theological Seminary. He is an alumnus of Northern Illinois University where he graduated with a degree in Industrial Technology. Also, he completed an Associate degree in Biomedical Electronics Technology while serving in the United States Navy Reserves as a Hospital Corpsman.

For more than 18 years, Bryant has served the National Education Association and its state affiliates with assisting educators to advocate for high-quality public schools, negotiate collective bargaining agreements, and organize political action.

Formerly, Bryant served as a high school Industrial Technology teacher in the south suburbs of Chicago. In Bryant’s free time he enjoys reading, playing golf, and spending time with his family.
