Julie May has been an RN for over 30 years. One of her professional passions, almost her entire career, has been vascular access. Julie has had the opportunity to hold various positions including Staff Nurse in the Medical Surgical unit, Emergency Department, Operating Department, Progressive Care and Intensive Care Unit; Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Education and Regulatory Compliance to name a few. She has been placing PICCs since the mid 1980's and has never given up the skill no matter what position she held.
