Position Description

Director of Employee Health Marshfield Clinic Health System

Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS) is a $2.2 billion integrated health system serving Wisconsin with about 10,000 employees and over 1,200 providers comprising 86 specialties, health plan, and research and education programs. MCHS primary operations include Marshfield Clinic, Marshfield Medical Centers in Marshfield, Eau Claire, Ladysmith, and Rice Lake (formerly Lakeview Medical Center), Marshfield Children's Hospital, Marshfield Clinic Research Institute, Security Health Plan and Marshfield Clinic Health System Foundation.

The Director of Employee Health is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the department and achieving the department goals and objectives. In addition, the Director has oversight of the daily operations of all employee health functions across the System geography. The Director of Employee Health manages all employee health regulatory and compliance requirements (JCAHO, State of WI, CMS, OSHA, etc). Manages the System worker’s compensation program and partners with Human Resources absence management team for case management issues. Serves as department liaison to IQUIPS, patient safety, risk management and safety/security.

Requires:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing; Master’s Degree preferred

  • Ten years of nursing experience

  • Knowledge of JCAHO, and other regulatory requirements for ambulatory and acute care settings

  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber(APNP) license Awarded by

    The Wisconsin Board of Nursing under the umbrella of the State of Wisconsin Department of Regulation and Licensing and through the State of Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services

  • Management experience in an ambulatory and/or acute setting preferred
