Position Description

HSHS Director of Nursing- Critical Care Services

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) has an exciting opportunity for a Director of Nursing -Critical Care Services to our Hospital Sisters Health System- St Vincent and St Mary’s- Green Bay leadership team.

The Director of Nursing – Critical Care reports directly to the HSHS Chief Nursing Officer and is a collaborative leader comfortable managing within a matrix environment. The ideal candidate possesses a proven track record in leading a team in a critical care environment.  This role is responsible for the day to day operations of the Critical Care Services across 2 campuses including a Comprehensive Stroke Facility ,Level II Trauma Center and Telemetry Services to encompass staffing, colleague engagement and ensuring high-quality patient care.

Based in Green Bay, WI

  • Focus on daily operations and ensuring exceptional patient care
  • Reports directly to Chief Nursing Officer
  • Based in Green Bay, WI with oversight of two campuses:
    • Vincent Hospital - ICU, Cardiovascular ICU and IMCU
    • Mary's Hospital - ICU and Telemetry Services (monitors all 4 eastern HSHS hospitals)
  • Base salary

Minimum Requirements:

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required.

May consider candidate who is currently enrolled, and BSN is obtained within 2 years of hire.

Master’s degree is preferred.

 

Experience

5 years of nursing experience is required.

3 years of leadership experience or equivalent is required.

Critical Care Experience is strongly preferred

 

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice is required.
