Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College is seeking qualified candidates for part-time Certified Nursing Assistant Instructors at clinical sites in and around New Richmond and Grantsburg, Wisconsin. Teaching assignments will be on an as-needed basis and include both classroom and clinical hours.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and 4,000 hours of occupational nursing experience (to include one year long-term care experience), OR
2. Associate degree in Nursing and 7,000 hours of occupational nursing experience (to include one year long-term care experience).
3. Meets Wisconsin’s Department of Health Services (DHS) approval as a primary instructor of Certified Nursing Assistant.
An instructor’s primary purpose is to foster learner success, assess learner achievement, and continually improve learning opportunities. Instructors also contribute to the college’s operational effectiveness by forming partnerships with learners, co-workers, and business and industry stakeholders.

*Documents assessment of learner achievement, core abilities, course competencies, and program outcomes
*Partners with learners
*Helps learners define and achieve their academic and career goals
*Manages learning environments in a manner consistent with college policies and procedures
*Records and submits grades
*Communicates using e-mail and voice mail
*Other duties as assigned
