Position Description

Qualifications/Duties
Texas Health Southwest Hospital seeks to hire an RN to work Full Time, 40 hours per week in Surgery in our brand new ambulatory orthopedic surgery center .

Required minimum education:

*Graduate of a NLN (National League of Nursing) or CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) accredited nursing programs.
*For RNs hired after Jan 2014 completion of BSN within 3 years of THR RN start date as defined in offer letter.
*Effective Dec 2015 RNs hired or transferring in THR completion of BSN within 2 years.
*BSN preferred upon hire.


Required license/certification:

*Current AHA BLS

Minimum Experience:

*1 years RN experience in Surgery, Orthopedics strongly preferred .

Shift/Hours:

*40 hours per week
*Monday-Friday
*Varied 8 and 10 hour shifts
*Day Shift/some evening shifts
*Will take occasional weekday, weekend and holiday call as needed.
