Job Summary: Review client medication administration logs to determine accuracy in the administration of medications to clients and provide training to staff on an as needed basis regarding the process of administering medications to clients.

What you will do:  Twice a month you will come to the Columbus main office and review client medication logs to determine that correct medications were administered according to the directions listed on the medication administration log.  You will provide a written summary documenting any medication administration errors discovered and this is to be submitted to the Director of Residential Services after each medication administration log review.  The estimated amount of hours per month of service you would be providing would be from 6 to 12 hours per month.

On as a needed basis you will provide technical assistance and or training to Columbus staff regarding medication administration processes.

What you’ll need to succeed: 

Current State of Utah Registered Nurse or higher DOPL License.
