It is an honor to make a final post as out-going chapter president regarding NNOA outcomes from last week.

Merle Ocampo favored our chapter last fall with her talk on cultural diversity and Filipino Nurses. she has won in several categories in the past, including last year’s lifetime achievement.  This year she took facility overall for her workplace. 

Mel Brooks Nutter also spoke at our fall conference, focusing on Code Aorta triage for ER. Mel is a chapter member and won the Nursing Education category for her dedication to newly graduated Nurses, Code Aorta implementation, and her work in conjunction with Awaken training ER and inpatient staff on recognition of human trafficking victims.
