The 2018 AACN NTI Boston is underway. Lots of useful information to improve the quality of patient care. Liz and I were able to attend a leadership session, thank you to our chapter for allowing us to go to that.  We met Theresa Nino, Region 17’s CAT, in person. Amazing work done by the Denver chapter. 

NTI has also been an excellent stage for networking. A great way to reconnect with former GB AACN chapter members such as Jennifer James (Mrs. Silva). 

Shoutout to Renown Regional Medical Center, Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center, Veterans Affairs Hospital Reno, Northern Nevada Medical Center, and Carson Tahoe Medical Center for sending nurses to this wonderful event. 

Congratulations to Reno’s own Jana Elliot and Jennifer Silva for their poster presentation on “Dedicated Rapid Response Team Improves Mortality Rate”.
