Our Annual Educational-Lecture Luncheon, is an educational and fundraising event where we award deserving local nursing students scholarships that will aid in furthering their education. 

In addition to presenting scholarships, a health-related topic or emerging issues in nursing and health care is presented by a notable guest lecturer or panelists.  This year the Educational-Lecture Luncheon will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm at the William and Ida Friday Center for Continuing Education in Chapel Hill, NC.   The format based on feedback from evaluations.  We are planning a panel discussion that will focus on Issues impacting African-American nurses while getting different perspectives from variety of work environments and levels of nursing.
