In disaster situations, nurses must care for others while caring for themselves and their family.  Texas Nurses Association and Texas Organization of Nurse Executives, with the Johnson & Johnson Foundation, developed Care for the Caregiver to help nurses before, during and after disasters and have graciously shared this resource with other nursing organizations.
