As a member you become an Active Participant and join a many other professional nurses who recognize the service that NYBNA provides to the African American community through its many health care services and out reach programs. New York Black Nurses Association is as strong as its members are active. Its many programs and accomplishments are possible thanks to member's interest and volunteer committee work.

• Members are encouraged to attend and participate in regular general membership meetings.

• From health fairs to Parades, we do it all, we are nurses after all.

• Our accomplishments are many but much remains to be done.
