We need your voice! We are looking for national planning committee members for the 2019 HPNA Clinical Practice Forum and the new 2019 Leadership Preconference, both taking place during the weekend of September 19-21, 2019. The Clinical Practice Forum committee will consist of six HPNA members while the Leadership Preconference committee will have four HPNA members, led by the HPNA Education Department, ANCC Accredited Provider Unit Nurse Planners, member leadership representation, and national office staff. Committee activities will include conducting a needs assessment to determine the underlying educational needs of our members, identifying our target audience, developing conference and preconference short- and long-term learning outcomes, identifying program evidence-based content and faculty experts, and determining the methods for program evaluation relative to desired learning outcomes. The planning committees will assist with closing our professional practice gap, facilitate learner engagement, foster learner outcomes, and drive quality improvement in palliative nursing to amplify HPNA's mission to advance expert care in serious illness. If you are interested in participating with either committee, please complete the application attached to this email or download it through the link and send it by email only along with your CV/resume and two letters of recommendation to both connied@hpna.org and juliet@hpna.org by 5pm EDT on Friday, December 21, 2019.
