MAOHN Spring 2019 Conference - Navigating Legal Marijuana in MI: Impact on the Workplace & Occupational Health Practice
Summary: This program will discuss the current state of Marijuana legislation in Michigan: the Michigan Medical Act and Proposition One: Recreational Marijuana.
Navigating the legal divides of federal and state rules, workplace policies, procedures, legal and recreational marijuana, workers’ compensation compensability, drug testing, fitness for duty and pain management can be daunting unless you know the rules. MAOHN has gathered three speakers to discuss the impact of marijuana, now a legal substance in MI, on employers, employees, and occupational health professionals.
Continuing Education Approvals:
CA BRN CEP 13533 has approved this program for 3.0 Nursing contact hours. MAOHN is requesting Pre-Approval for 3.0 Clock Hours from the Commission for Case Management Certification for Certified Case Managers.
