Dear IANANT Members, 

I am truly blessed and excited to start my term as the chair of the editorial committee of IANANT. We the editorial committee would like to continue publishing IANANT newsletter quarterly. We would like to feature news, activities and highlight important events happening in our chapter, within different forums, as well as keep you updated about events nationally. Our goal also is to keep connected with our members in a very professional and meaningful manner, highlighting the great work you do and provide a platform for you to share your work and successes. To that end, I invite you to collaborate with us on the newsletter to help create a fun-filled, meaningful and informative newsletter. I have included some helpful guidelines here that will simplify the process of creating our IANANT newsletter. As always, we also welcome your constructive ideas to make this a great success.

 Submission guidelines for IANANT newsletter 

A. Acceptable items: 

• • Authors are encouraged to submit voluntary manuscripts, related to topics that enhance nursing practice, research and leadership. Photos may be included along with the article as long as it fulfills the guidelines stated below. 
• • All manuscripts of articles, reports, and write-ups should be in the Word Format. 
• • Committee activity report should be limited to half a page, with the inclusion of photos, if needed. 
• • Event flyers: all event flyers must be submitted in an appropriate PDF, JPEG, or Word Format. 
• • We would like to honor and highlight members who have received any form of professional recognition or accolades Please include: Name & Credentials Picture Details of the Award and the Awarding Entity 

B. Photographs: 

• • Each picture must be sent in the appropriate JPEG, or PDF format. 
• • Captions for the pictures, with a clear indication of which picture it correlates to, must be sent in an appropriate Word Format. 

C. Disclaimer/Copyright/Citation: 

• • Author takes the responsibility of proper citation for references used in scholarly work. 
• • Copyrighted images should not be used, if used author is fully responsible for copyright related matters. 

Your submissions may be subjected to editing and IANANT reserves the right of publishing or rejecting your submissions.
