8:15-9:00 –Late registration, payments and breakfast bar (coffee, yogurt, fresh fruit)

 

9:00 -10:30 – Insulin Pump and CGM (Continuous Glucose Monitor) Updates by Ida Reighard, BSN, RN, CDE (1.5 contact hours)

 

10:30 – 12:00 –Overview of the CONNECT Program by state coordinator Alex Long B.S, CPH and Butte Silver Bow Connect Coordinator Shannon Hopewell, Administrative Health Specialist, AD Accounting (1.5 contact hours)

12:00-1:30 – Lunch and business meeting - Health P &P Development & Health Education provided by the School Nurse to Para Professionals in the School Setting by Erica Harp, BSN, RN, GFPS Lead School Nurse & Karen Graf, MSN, BSN, RN-BC, APHN, NASN Montana State Director (1.5 contact hours)

1:30 – 3:00 – Use of Cannabinoids for Students with Seizure Disorders by Dr. Marcus Wheeler, MD, American Board of Psychiatry/Neurology; Pediatric Neurology (1.5 contact hours)
