The Indian American Nurses Association of North Texas

 Dear IANANT members,

National Nurses Week begins each year on May 6th and ends on May 12th, Florence Nightingale's birthday. This year as our IANANT is getting ready to celebrate the nurse’s day, we have embraced the theme “4 Million Reasons to Celebrate”. On this occasion we are excited to bring a very exciting event to you. We are preparing to publish a supplement newsletter as part of the nurse’s day celebration and would like to extend an invitation to all the IANANT members to write in no more than 100 words your reason to celebrate for being a nurse. Your entry will be published in the supplement newsletter. The following are a few guidelines to keep in mind:

1. The entry should be based on the topic “What is your reason to celebrate as a nurse”

2. The entry should not exceed more than 100 words.

3. The entry should be received on or before April 30th, 2019 and should be sent to liffycherian@hotmail.com . No entries will be entertained after April 30th, 2019.

4. The participant must be a member of IANANT to participate in this event.

5. The editorial committee reserves the right for the final decision of publication of your entry. This will be based on all the above criteria plus the grammatical quality of the entry.

6. The editorial committee also reserves the right to make any minor grammatical edits to entries prior to publishing once they are chosen for publication.

Regards,

Editorial Committee Chair
