Don't forget about our upcoming meeting on Thursday, May 9th at UMKC, Pierson Hall. The program will feature Dr. Jessica Nutik-Zitter, author of Extreme Measures, Finding a Better Path to the End of Life and filmaker of the Netflix documentary, Extremis. Midwest HPNA has collaborated with the Kansas City Society of Palliative Medicine and The Final Acts Project to bring Dr. Zitter to our community for a screening of Extremis followed by a keynote speech. There is no registration necessary to attend Thursday evening and the event is free! There is plenty of space so bring a colleague, friend or loved one.
