YOUR ATTENDANCE IS NEEDED AT THE STATE HOUSE TO MAINTAIN SCHOOL NURSE TEACHER CERTIFICATION TODAY!!!!!

Wednesday April 24th at 4:30 pm!!!

THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT ISSUES WE HAVE FACED! This may be the last chance we have to keep our current certification.

As of December 2018 RIDE approved an alternate pathway for school nurse certification.

The only pathway RICSNTA supports is the current law, RIGL 16-21-8, for certified school nurse teachers. This certification ensures continuity of high quality school health services for RI school children. Please support Bill H5990 that was introduced. The amended language strengthens school nurse teacher certification.

IT IS CRITICAL YOU ATTEND THE STATE HOUSE AND SUPPORT THIS BILL!

When the state house is crowded it makes a impressive statement so bring colleagues, friends and relatives. You need to sign in but do not need to speak.

We are looking for large numbers and it WILL make a difference. This may be the last chance we have to keep our current certification.

See you all there,

Rachel Cruz M.Ed., BSN, RN, RICSNT
