Ending HIV/AIDS: Nurses on the Front-Line

It was years before the country began to formally address AIDS/HIV. A movement in the early 1980's pushed this issue to the forefront, finally drawing national attention. Nurses have played a key role in the prevention and treatment of this disease. They have consistently been researching and sharing their findings with the public and generating new patient protocol. Their work is instrumental in the progression of fighting HIV/AIDS.
