Abstract Submission deadline: 7.15.19

              PLEASE REVIEW THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY PRIOR TO SUBMISSION

 

                    IANANT Education committee invites you to submit abstracts on nursing topics that may include clinical conditions, medications and management, safety and quality initiatives, educational strategies resuscitation, nursing leadership, research and evidence based nursing or any topics that will align with the theme of the conference.

The abstracts presented will be chosen for one the following presentation tracks

Step – 1 - Category

  1. Clinical
  2. Leadership
  3. APRN

Step -2  – Biographical Data

            The abstract should accompany the following brief presenter biography in the provided format:

Step – 3 – Guidelines for satisfactory submission:

  • Abstracts must be in English within word limit of 250, submitted as Microsoft Word document.(Objectives and References excluded)
  • Authors may submit work in progress or completed work, all material must be the work of authors and appropriately referenced
  • The primary author is responsible for obtaining consent from all authors and any employer or patient/client clearances before submitting the abstract
  • You may submit up to two abstracts.
  • The primary author will be considered the point of contact and all future correspondence in regards to abstract and presentation will be communicated to the primary author thereafter.
  • Authors must be member of IANANT to be eligible for completion of acceptance
  • IANANT will not endorse any costs associated with the preparation of any presentations

Step – 4 – Abstract Submission Format:

         All abstracts must use the following headlines as applicable:

  1. Category (Pick from the category above)
  2. Title
  3. Significance and background
  4. Outcomes / Implications (contribution to the conference theme)
  5. References (minimum of 3 references)
  6. Presenter / co-presenter biography (use the format from step-2)

 

ABSTRACT SELECTION

  • The selection committee will review abstract content, speaker qualifications, content related to conference goals and objectives.
  • You will receive an email notification regarding the receipt of abstract.
  • Acceptance letters of successful abstracts will be mailed out to primary author.
  • Presenters will be notified by 8.15.19 regarding the acceptance
  • Please review the attached rubric for guidance on abstract review criteria.
