Labor Management Meeting 6-26-19

Tequesta, FL
The National Postal Professional Nurses

Members--I attended a Labor Management Meeting which included continued contract negotiations.  Since we are still negotiating the new contract the information I send has to be minimal.

The USPS HQ Management will be letting the districts hire for the open OHN's positions.  Hopefully the Dsitrict Managers won't try and stop the hiring.  If an OHN position becomes available the district has 30 day to notify the NPPN Union if this open positon will be reverted.  So far I haven't received any reverted position notifications.  Grievances need to be filed if HRM Management won't fill the OHN position.  Please notify the NPPN Union if this is a problem at your district.

At the contract negotiations meetings we are currently discussing salary.  When we are finally in agreement the agreed upon increase will be retroactive from 2017 August.
