The New School Nurse Conference registration will be closing this Friday, July 12, 2019. The Conference is not quite at capacity, but please encourage any new school nurses you know to get registered. This is a great conference to help the nurse new to the specialty of school health learn the expectations of school nursing. School nurses need to have a very full knowledge of health care as schools have students with special health care needs, mental health care needs, and chronic health care needs as well as students who don’t have special health care needs but need to learn to be safe healthy and ready to learn.
