Save the date for the next Midwest HPNA meeting which will be held at Truman Medical Center-Hospital Hill on Wednesday, August 21st at 6:00pm. Join us for a light dinner and networking followed by a program brought to us by the Palliative Care team at Truman titled In Pursuit of QOL with Serious Illness: Some Challenges for Palliative Care Patients in an Urban Hospital. A meeting flier will be sent out and registration will be opened within the next few weeks. We also hope to be able to offer the meeting via Webex format for those who can't make the trip. 

There have been several memberships that are up for renewal in the next few months. Please make sure to rejoin our local chapter which can be done online through our website.
