The SePA – AACN Research Committee is calling for applications for Grants in Support of Original  Research, Evidence-Based Clinical Practice  as well as Clinical Projects related to Acute and Critical Care. These grants are available to SePA members (up to $4000 for original research and evidence-based projects; up to $500 for clinical projects). The projects must benefit acutely or critically ill patients and families. Attached is a general information letter, as well as the application cover page, budget page and guidelines for each grant type. Applications are now being accepted on a rolling basis.

Please note that in order to apply for these grants, the principle investigator/project leader MUST be a current member of the SePA Chapter. 

The recipients of the grants will be determined through a blind review by members of the Research Committee. In selecting recipients, the Research Committee places emphasis on scientific merit, contribution to acute and critical care nursing, and overall quality of the proposal. Applications are reviewed on a bi-annual basis, review updates will be provided to applicants regularly.
