Director at Large Positions
Dear Ohio Chapter Members,
We have exciting things planned for 2020 and want you to be a part of it. The Ohio Chapter of the IAFN is committed to education, transparency and access. With these changes, we are looking for passionate Forensic Nurse Leaders that are qualified, driven candidates for the following positions:
TITLE: Director at Large
DESCRIPTION: The Director at Large positions serve as a Board liaison over assigned committees. This is an advisory role that participates in planning and execution process for continued momentum. There are two separate Director at Large positions:
- Director at Large Education/Research
- Director at Large Government Affair
This position will serve as a member of the perspective board for two years.
All board terms start on January 1st.
PURPOSE:
All Board Members have a legal obligation to exercise care, loyalty and obedience
to ensure that IAFN is governed in such a way that it fulfills its mission and purpose, that the
assets of IAFN are conserved and protected through sound financial management and that IAFN
operates in accordance with state and federal laws. All members of the Board shall seek to
understand, uphold, and support the bylaws, mission, strategic plan, policies, and procedures of
IAFN.
