Dear Georgia Nurses,

There has never been a more important time to make our voices heard, and ensure our seat at the table, than now! With that said, please remember to fill out and return the application that was mailed to you from the Secretary of State in order to receive your official absentee ballot to vote in the June 9th Primary Election.

Due to the Public Health Emergency brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, you may vote the absentee ballot received in lieu of going to the polls to vote.

To verify your GA voter registration status click here

If you have not received an application for the absentee ballot, contact your county election officials immediately.

Remember, there is an old saying in politics, “you either have a seat at the table…or you are on the menu!”  Georgia nurses need to be at the table and make our voices even stronger and louder.  What can you do?  You can first and foremost vote, and second you can contribute to the Georgia Nurses Association Political Action Committee (GN-PAC).

You can donate in the amount of your choice, via PayPal, by clicking here. To donate via check, please print and complete a donation form here and send your check or money order to:  GN-PAC, 3032 Briarcliff Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30329.

Thank you for everything you are doing during this difficult time. Together, let’s get out the vote, keep our seat at the table, and stay off the menu!  We can do this!

Sincerely,

Cindy Balkstra
