The Northern NJ DDNA Chapter began as a Nurse Network in the late 1990's. We were inducted as a Chapter in May 2014 at the annual conference held in Orlando, Florida.

As DD nurses in New Jersey it is important for us to support our nursing specialty organization. The Northern NJ DDNA Chapter is committed to advocacy, education, and support for nurses who provide services to persons with I/DD. DD nursing is a highly skilled area of nursing practice. We all share a common purpose - to enhance developmental disabilities nursing practice through networking and education, thus effecting positive change for persons with I/DD locally, nationally and globally.
