The Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC), Pennsylvania Senate Bill 655 must be brought up for a vote in this legislative session. This bill would permit RNs who are licensed in Pennsylvania to obtain multistate licenses and practice in 34 other states if the NLC bill passes. SB 655 will preclude nurses from the cumbersome, costly burdens associated with applying for additional licenses in these compact states.

This bill will make it easier for nurses to provide a higher quality of care to more patients at a pivotal time in our history. Please contact your state representative today to urge support for Senate Bill 655 – Pennsylvania’s nurses depend on you. Senate Bill 655 is awaiting consideration in the House Professional Licensure Committee.

Please urge your state representative to vote YES on Senate Bill 655.
