Many of you were able to attend the two part webinar series by Our Care, Our Choice Hawaiʻi which highlighted the nurses role in medical aid and dying. As follow up, Our Care, Our Choice Hawaiʻi requested we share a patient story and another webinar opportunity with a local physician on his experience implementing the law as a patient care option. The first physician to prescribe medical aid in dying on a neighbor island, Dr. Charfen, is doing hosting a Zoom presentation on Dec. 2nd, "Talk Story with Dr. Charfen: Experiences with the Hawai'i Medical Aid in Dying Law".
