Nurses working in preanesthesia, post anesthesia care, ambulatory surgery and pain management are dedicated to caring for patients and their families. They are passionate about what they do as nurses. Perianesthesia Nurses Awarness Week (PANAW) is an opportunity to educate nursing colleagues and the community about the profession and dedicated care that is delivered by perianesthesia nurses every day. Plan to celebrate your practice and recognize your colleagues this week! Bring individually wrapped treats to share in your department, display photos of perianesthesia nurses on your hosptial website, in house or use your imagination to celebrate at your workplace.
