A win for Georgia Nurses on National Nurses Week, newly signed law removes nurses’ addresses from public access

May 7, 2021- Georgia registered nurses have another reason to celebrate this year’s National Nurses Week (May 6th- 12th). On Thursday, May 6th, Governor Brian P. Kemp signed into law Senate Bill 32, which includes language to remove the home addresses of nurses from public websites. This law is a huge step towards ensuring the safety and protection of Georgia’s and the nation’s most trusted professionals: Nurses.
GNA President Richard Lamphier, GNA Director Legislation and Public Policy Dr. Erica Mills, GNA CEO Matt Caseman and GNA Senior Director of Membership and Government Affairs Tim Davis attended the bill signing ceremony.
