The Board of Directors of NHNA is seeking membership involvement (3-5 members) to serve on a Task Force chaired by Carmen Petrin, director at large, to review and amend NHNA Bylaws.

Qualifications:

  • Members should have an understanding of and appreciation for the importance of bylaws as delineating the architectural framework and governing structure of NHNA.
  • Members should be willing to commit time over a period of 1-2 months to amend the NHNA Bylaws and submit an Intent to Serve form.
  • Prior experience in writing or amending bylaws is desirable but not required.
  • Be an NHNA member in good standing

Meetings will be held via Zoom starting June, 2021.  Once the work is completed, the amended bylaws will be presented to the Board of Directors for their review prior to sending them to the ANA to affirm harmony with ANA Bylaws.  The amended bylaws will then be presented to the NHNA membership at the annual fall membership meeting for approval.

Please consider sharing your expertise to amend the NHNA Bylaws by requesting an intent to serve form to: office@nhnurses.org before May 25, 2021
