September 8, 2021- It came to our attention the passing of dedicated nurse educator and respected resource Julia Gould. Our condolences to the Gould Family and loved ones. 

"Julia Gould, Nursing Education Consultant for Georgia Board of Nursing for 33 years, passed away on September 6, 2021. As the Nursing Education Consultant for approximately 60 Registered Nurse Programs in Georgia, she evaluated nursing education programs and served as a staff liaison to the Georgia Board of Nursing. From 1997-2001 Julia served as a member of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing Board of Directors. She retired as the Nursing Education Consultant for Georgia Board of Nursing in 2012 and received the Exceptional Contribution Award from National Council of State Boards of Nursing in August 2012."
