To be completed on or after January 1, 2022, new continuing education requirements for healthcare professionals (PTs, OTs, RNs, LPNs,etc.) have gone into effect to include at least two hours of training and education on screening for posttraumatic stress disorder, suicide risk, depression, and grief and suicide prevention training during the first license renewal period and not less than once every six years thereafter.
