The Chicagoland Chapter of HPNA

Hello!

It is that time of year again for our Chapter Elections. We are so fortunate that we had people volunteer for our open positions, after our earlier request for board members!  Our executive board positions are now filled but we are looking for some extra help for our Ad Hoc Committee.

An Ad Hoc Committee member is someone who is interested in helping out, but aren't quite ready to commit to one of the 4 main positions. Our Ad Hoc members participate in our monthly Board meetings and would be a great help with membership, event planning, website/social media presence, etc.  Email your interest thru our website or our chapter email at chicagolandchapterhpna@gmail.com

Please remember to hold a Board position, Committee membership or vote in chapter elections, you must be a current member of LOCAL and NATIONAL HPNA.  Chapter members who meet this criteria will be receiving an electronic ballot which we request you complete. It is a bylaw requirement to hold elections even if the positions are unchallenged.

Please consider joining our committee to help our chapter continue to grow and be sustainable. We need you, and your colleagues, to continue to offer a place to network, offer educational events and help Hospice and Palliative nurses navigate the never-ending pandemic we seem to be stuck in.

We will send out updated Board Member and voting information in the next week or so.

Thank you Chapter Members and followers, your support is greatly appreciated!
