The NEMSD stands in solidarity with the American Academy of Pediatrics and American Nurses Association for a call to action to demand meaningful changes to gun laws to stop these horrifying acts of gun violence. As nurses we are called to advocate for our patients, families, and communities. We must stand united in advocacy for meaningful changes in gun law – each life taken in tragedies like this are a failure of our country.
