The NLN Institute for the Care of Vulnerable Populations has partnered with Oral Health Nursing Education and Practice (OHNEP) at NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing to introduce six new teaching strategies that support educations and clinicians in improving the quality of oral health care.  Authiored by OHNEP staff, the new teaching strategies span across three ACE (Advancing Care Excellence) populations including:

• Advancing Care Excellence for Persons with Disabilities (ACE.D)
• Advancing Care Excellence for Veterans (ACE.V) 
• Advancing Care Excellence for Alzheimer's Patients and Caregivers (ACE.Z)

Integrate these new teaching strategies into your nursing program curricula to help students learn barriers to oral care and the oral health needs of patients in these populations.
