Changes and Challenges in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing: 

We invite students, psychiatric nurses and nurse researchers to submit abstracts for the poster session. The purpose of the poster session is to communicate best practices on psychiatric mental health nursing clinical topics, innovative practice settings, research findings, and other topics related to psychiatric mental health nursing in primary care and/or acute care.

Electronically submit your abstract and submission form as an MS Word File attachment to: Carol Kain ckainpnp@earthlink.net.

Guidelines and Information

Abstracts are limited to 250 words or less.

Abstract Guidelines: Abstracts must contain the following information:

• Poster-Title

• Author(s)-Names and e-mail addresses

• Keywords-Identify the keywords applicable to the submission

• Brief content description:

List citations for evidence used (must have at least 1); provide the purpose statement for the presentation; identify the gap area to be addressed (knowledge, skill, practice, or other); provide a description of the current gap; and provide a description of the desired/achievable state.

The deadline to submit: February 21, 2015 by 5:00PM Acceptance Notification: March 7, 2015
