Cancer Prevention and World Cancer Day

Cancer is a leading cause of death in the US and the world. Nearly 2 million Americans are diagnosed with cancer each year. Over one third of cancers are preventable but many people don’t have access to screening and other prevention methods. See  Steps to Prevent Cancer.

World Cancer Day's theme is closing the care gap. Create a future without cancer by getting involved and promoting WCD on February 4.
