The April membership meeting will be in person at the Century House. We are trying something different with the food. The Century House will provide hors d'oeuvres (passed on on a table) and soda from 5:30 - 7:30 PM; a cash bar will be available. I look forward to seeing you on April 6th.

Program 6:30 – 7:30 PM

This presentation will describe the prevalence, incidence, and complications of diabetes mellitus.  The Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) certification will be presented and the role a CDCES plays in helping clients control diabetes will be discussed. The resources of the Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists will be described.

Target audience: Registered Nurses, Nurse educators, and nursing students.

6:15 PM – 6:30 PM General Membership Meeting & Updates

6:30 PM – 7:30 PM Program

7:30 PM – 7:45 PM Wrap Up

Albany Medical Center is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

This learning activity will be awarded a maximum of 1.0 Continuing Nursing Education contact hour.

Cancellations/Refunds: Cancellations will be accepted  through April 2; the refund will be less the fees for nursing network and PayPal, and is issued by PayPal.  There will be no refunds after April 2nd.
