A healthy workplace is a foundation for a healthy workforce. Evidence clearly demonstrates that a healthy and engaged workforce results in both increased retention and better patient outcomes. There is a model for consideration: The AACN Standards for Creating Healthy Work Environments. This model has over 20 years of evidence and research demonstrating proven outcomes. 

The AACN is recruiting for regional cohorts. They are extending a special invitation from the AACN Innovation Fund grant to cover most of the cost of the program participation and thus reduce the participant fee to $1,500 per team. Each team will focus its innovation project on the HWE standard of its choice, and each hospital may apply for up to 10 teams. See attachment for more details and sign up instructions.
