Board of Directors Announces New Executive Director for Idaho Center for Nursing and NLI

Kevin McEwan, DNP, RN, President of the Idaho Center for Nursing Board of Directors and also the President of Nurse Leaders of Idaho and CNO at Madison Memorial Hospital in Rexburg  and Anna Rostock, MBA, BSN, RN, Vice President of the Idaho Center for Nursing and President of ANA-Idaho, and a Nursing Manager at St. Luke's Health System,  announced that they have hired Teresa Stanfill, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, to replace Randall Hudspeth, PhD, MBA, MS, APRN-CNP, FRE, FAANP, who has been the Executive Director of ICN, NLI for the past 7.5 years and ANAI since July 2018, who notified the boards of his plans to retire in May at the end of a 47.5 year career in nursing, effective September 5.


Teresa Stanfill, DNP, RN, NEA-BC
 

Teresa Stanfill is well known to Idaho nursing with a 30+ year nursing career.  She holds a BSN from Pacific Lutheran University in Seattle, a MSN from Idaho State University, and a DNP from the University of Kansas, and she was previously the Senior Nursing Director for the St. Luke's Center for Nursing Excellence.  Additionally, she is an adjunct faculty at Grand Canyon University graduate programs, a Magnet Appraiser and a regular speaker at CE events and has taught in the NLI leadership program.  She will assume her duties on September 5.

A smooth transition is planned.  Ben Knapp will continue in his role as the Manager of Operations and Programs for the ICN.
