State of Alaska 2023/2024 School Nurse Mentorship Program Now Open

Hello to all school nurses,
We are kicking off our School Nurse Mentorship program which will run November – May 2024.
If you are an experienced school nurse who would be willing to mentor* a new school nurse or if you are a new school nurse and would be interested in having a mentor that would check in with you regularly, we are interested in hearing from you!
Mentorship requirements:
- Mentor – 3 or more years of school nursing experience. *Stipends will be available for mentors.
- Mentee – 3 or less years of school nursing experience.
Please respond by November 6th, and we will reach back out with more information to be able to match mentors and mentees.
