This month we had the absolute pleasure of hosting Mary Kay Bader, Clinical Nurse Specialist in neuro-critical care, for our monthly meeting. Mary spoke on the importance of recognizing and how to properly treat seizures at the bedside in the ICU. We learned about a state-of-the-art device called the Ceribell. Which is a highly accessible EEG monitor that is both cost-effective and efficient by utilizing artificial intelligence to help nurses recognize seizure activity in their patients.
