Welcome to our newest Executive Board Member
Lesli Miller, President, and the rest of the board would like to take this opportunity to welcome our newest Executive Board Member, Tracey Jaworski- Lucas, Treasurer

Tracey had the intention of becoming a hospice nurse as she enrolled in Felician College’s baccalaureate nursing program in 2010. She graduated with her BSN in 2014, and immediately started working as a hospice nurse. Since then, she has worked for several hospices in Northern New Jersey and spent some time working for long term care skilled nursing facilities.
She currently works for Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice at the Home for Hospice as a Nurse Supervisor. Within the past two years, she has coordinated with Sussex Community College and Felician University to host their nursing students at the Home for Hospice for their hospice clinical rotation. Her goal is to show that palliative nursing is very rewarding, especially at the end of life. She believes in the importance of exposing the nursing students to the dying process because recognition of terminally ill patients will lead to better outcomes during their patients’ disease trajectory.
Tracey was an active member for the planning committee for the NNJHPNA leading up to its chapter status and will now be the treasurer for the chapter. She hopes to help the chapter grow in leaps and bounds!
Tracey has the desire to teach anyone who needs to know the value of hospice and palliative care at the end of life. In her spare time, Tracey loves to read and spend time in her garden.
