Welcoming CORINNE BOREL to the NACDN Board!

National Association of Chemical Dependency Nurses

Corinne will be our Chair of the Education Committee.

"I joined MACDN in 2014 because it was a great place to learn more and network with fellow nurses.  Now 10 years into addictions nursing I am currently a graduate student in a DNP-FNP program with my doctoral project facilitating better primary care follow up for those with SUD frequently visiting ED’s.

“I have become the NACDN Education Chair because I am excited about all the new developments in the addictions field and recognize the importance of nationally enhancing evidence based practice in our front line nursing profession serving those struggling with SUD. Though I am soon to finish a terminal DNP degree, I believe learning never stops and NACDN is a great place to learn cutting edge developments in our field.  As nurses, we can be a powerful voice to advocate for the people we serve.  NACDN gives us a platform to do so while re-energizing us in our important work.”
