Each year in September, nursing professional development (NPD) practitioners from across the globe take a week to celebrate Nursing Professional Development Week. This gives us an opportunity to shine a light on the profound impact NPD practitioners have on our profession.   This year, NPD week is September 14 thru 20.

To kick off NPD week this year, the ANPD Chesapeake Affiliate of Maryland will be holding its first in person event in over 4 years!  On behalf of my fellow board members, We welcome you to join us on September 13, 2024 at MedStar Harbor Hospital for the Simulation and Innovation Symposium.   Please come celebrate with us as we network, learn together, enjoy a meal, and  celebrate!   Hurry!  Registration closes on September 6!
