DECEMBER 1ST IS WORLD AIDS DAY
December 1st: World AIDS DAY
World AIDS Day is an annual event that commemorates the commitment to preventing new HIV infections and providing services to people living with HIV.
The theme for World AIDS Day 2024 is "Take the rights path". The theme highlights the importance of upholding human rights and including all communities to end AIDS. The campaign also calls for removing laws that harm people's rights and enacting laws that protect their rights
The International AIDS Society (IAS) also has a social campaign for World AIDS Day 2024 called "Put people first!". The campaign encourages people to share their stories about how putting people first has impacted their lives. The goal is to build a more inclusive and compassionate HIV response that benefits everyone.
